Job summary

Cisco is hiring an entry-level Site Reliability Engineer to support the reliability of our global cloud platform. You will learn from mentors while maintaining platform health, monitoring telemetry, and assisting incident response across multi-tenant environments.

You will collaborate with SRE and product teams to improve observability, dashboards, and runbooks. Expect structured on-call rotation, with growth opportunities in cloud operations and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
• Basic scripting: Python, Bash, Go or similar for automation.
• Demonstrated curiosity and analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Enthusiasm for collaborating in a fast-learning team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry across multi-tenant cloud environments to maintain platform health and uptime.
• Assist with incident triage and response alongside senior engineers.
• Suggest improvements to runbooks to reduce repetitive troubleshooting.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews documenting timelines and preventive solutions.
• Collaborate with SRE and Product teams to improve observability dashboards and alert hygiene.
• Participate in a structured on-call rotation with mentorship.
