Job summary

Cisco is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer for the Observability team within Cloud Network Platform Engineering. You will design, build, and operate enterprise observability platforms for logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting across large-scale cloud infrastructure.

You will lead efforts to improve visibility, reduce MTTD/MTTR, and strengthen reliability across Cisco’s cloud environment, including production support and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and improve observability platforms.
•  
• Build and maintain Splunk and Elasticsearch clusters for log analytics.
•  
• Develop dashboards and alerts using Splunk SPL, Grafana, Kibana, Tempo.
•  
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and upgrades using Terraform.
•  
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
