Snohomish County is seeking dependable, customer-focused individuals for Site Attendant I to help customers dispose of household waste and recycling at transfer stations and drop-off facilities.

The position involves strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to perform manual labor. Training will be provided to achieve certification as Site Attendant II or III, with day shifts including weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Must pass job related tests
• Training provided to perform tasks and operate equipment

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent customer service to solid waste customers
• Process transactions for solid waste fees
• Perform manual labor tasks (sweeping, hosing, shoveling, lifting)
• Learn to operate equipment such as backhoe and forklift
• Open and lock gates at appointed times
