Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Ability to perform under emotional stress when dealing with difficult clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shelter entrance and authorize entry/exit to guard against theft.
• Screen bags and persons entering shelter to ensure safety.
• Patrol premises to prevent intrusions and maintain security.
• Ensure shelter safety and assist during emergencies.
• Complete written reports and incident logs daily.
