Bergey's Souderton, PA is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. Ideal for candidates who have completed automotive training or have hands-on experience and want to build a career in automotive repair and maintenance.

The technician will perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance services, and basic repairs under the guidance of experienced technicians and following dealership and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Automotive vocational training or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, tools and repair procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Assist with diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues under supervision.
• Complete repair and maintenance work accurately and efficiently per dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate with Parts Department to obtain necessary parts.
• Inspect vehicles and identify recommended maintenance or safety-related repairs.
• Notify the Service Advisor of additional repair needs or any delays in completing assigned work.
• Document all services performed and recommendations on repair orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Road test vehicles when necessary and authorized.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Pay: up to $125000 / year based on experience

Shift: Full Time- No Sundays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Automotive vocational training, technical school certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Preferred Certifications And Requirements

• Entry-level ASE certifications or willingness to obtain certifications.
• Manufacturer training coursework is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
• State inspection or emissions certification preferred but not required.
