Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Spring Valley, IL to perform inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on Walmart equipment under supervision. You will create and process work orders, assess needs, identify parts, and communicate with customers and suppliers.

• Valid state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs under the direction of a qualified shop technician on Walmart equipment (e.g. trailers).
• Create and process work orders, assess maintenance and repair needs, identify parts and solutions, and document actions.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, associates verbally and in writing and complete work orders/logs.
• Receive fuel drops and conduct fuel sampling following safety procedures and DOT guidelines.
• Adhere to Walmart policies, ethics, and integrity standards.
