Job summary

Walmart in Sutherland, VA seeks a maintenance technician to perform basic to intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on company equipment, including trailers, tractors, and service vehicles, by creating work orders and identifying parts and solutions.

You will monitor fuel drops, collect samples, and document all activities, while upholding Walmart values, safety rules, and DOT guidelines.

Qualifications

• Brake inspection qualified as defined in FMCSA regulations.
• Vehicle inspection qualified as defined in FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs and replacements on Walmart equipment by creating and processing work orders and identifying needed parts.
• Inspect and repair components such as brakes and tires; follow DOT guidelines and company procedures.
• Receive fuel drops, monitor safety, collect and prepare samples, and complete paperwork and records.
