Job summary
Walmart in SPRING VALLEY, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, repairs, and replacements on trailers, tractors, and shop equipment. You’ll complete work orders, run diagnostics, and ensure safety and compliance with DOT guidelines.

Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair
- Technical school degree or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance
- Valid state driver’s license and OSHA/DOT awareness
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, repairs, and replacements on Walmart equipment per guidelines
- Create and process work orders; conduct diagnostics with technical equipment
- Monitor fuel drops, sample collection, and DOT/compliance steps
- Enter accurate condition and repair data into the maintenance system
- Collaborate with team and customers to address maintenance needs
- Uphold Walmart policies, ethics, and safety standards
