Job summary

Walmart is seeking a technician to perform basic to intermediate inspections and maintenance of trailers, tractors, yard trucks, and service vehicles in line with company guidelines. You will create work orders, identify repairs, source parts, and document actions while coordinating with customers, suppliers, and associates to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Expect to follow DOT requirements, maintain logs, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• Brake inspection qualification per FMCSA regulations (396.25).
• Vehicle inspection qualification per FMCSA regulations (396.19).

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate inspections and repairs on Walmart equipment per guidelines.
• Manage work orders, parts, and repair workflows; communicate progress.
• Adhere to safety, DOT, and company policies; maintain records and logs.
