Job summary

Ozarks Technical Community College is seeking a Server System Administrator I for its Information Technology department at the Springfield campus. This entry-level role manages installation, configuration, and monitoring of PCs, servers, and related systems to ensure reliable operations.

The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of operating systems management, Active Directory, and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of equivalent experience and working toward an Associate degree.
• Two years of experience with Operating Systems Management.
• One year of experience in Active Directory environments.
• One year of experience with PowerShell.
• Candidates will complete a hands-on evaluation.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation of PCs, Macintosh, and server systems (individual, virtual, and clustered).
• Maintain enterprise software installation and updates.
• Assist with OS and application maintenance and tuning.
• Help monitor performance and maintain documentation.
