Job summary

Ozarks Electric Cooperative in Fayetteville, AR seeks a Systems Administrator II to maintain Windows Server environments, AD, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on security, automation, and enterprise-scale operations across on-premises and Azure resources.

You will administer virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), manage identity and access, perform patching, and contribute to incident response and documentation efforts. A strong mix of on-prem and cloud skills is required.

Qualifications

Three to six years of experience in systems administration or related IT operations.
Experience administering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, identity management solutions, backup platforms and enterprise infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

Administer and support virtual infrastructure platforms, including VM provisioning, maintenance, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Support Azure infrastructure resources, VMs, storage services, identity services, and hybrid cloud environments.
Administer and support enterprise automation and AI platforms in line with security standards.
Maintain Windows Server environments and associated infrastructure systems.
Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, and hybrid identity solutions.
Perform advanced server administration including patch management and performance optimization.
Monitor infrastructure and troubleshoot issues to prevent outages.
Document systems and standardize operational procedures; mentor junior staff.
