Pace Analytical Services in Connecticut seeks a Scientist for our Wet Chemistry department. You will perform hands-on analysis of environmental samples, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in a state-of-the-art laboratory.

This role supports our mission to protect communities and ecosystems through rigorous scientific work. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field and the ability to work in a lab setting, standing for long periods, with PPE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment for extended periods and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality lab records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
