Planet Honda in Union, NJ is hiring Used Car Sales Representatives. No experience? No problem—unlock lucrative earnings with performance-based pay. This full-time role requires Saturday and evening availability, with opportunities to grow within the Lithia Motors network and beyond.

You will greet clients, present vehicles, and coordinate with finance teams to complete deals. A valid license and customer-service mindset are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in mobile, appliance, or similar products and strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to greet and assist customers, build rapport and close deals.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients in-store and online throughout the vehicle shopping, purchase, and ownership process.
• Conduct product presentations and test drives to match client needs and budgets.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to finalize deals and paperwork.
• Maintain current knowledge of vehicle features, options, and promotions through training.
• Nurture relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Manage follow-up activities and CRM entries to optimize sales opportunities.

What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist clients both in-store and online, guiding them throughout the vehicle shopping, purchase, and ownership process
• Conduct product presentations and test drives to help clients select the right vehicle based on their needs, lifestyle, and budget
• Work closely with sales and finance management teams to finalize deals
• Continually develop product knowledge on current offerings (features, technology, trim levels) through company and manufacturer training opportunities
• Foster ongoing relationships with both current and prospective customers to ensure business retention through professional, timely, and courteous communication
• Manage follow-up activities and opportunities through dealership CRM systems

What You'll Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in mobile, appliance, or similar sales
• Additional customer-facing experience welcomed
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Total Rewards

The estimated annual earnings for this position ranges from $70,000 to $120,000. This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes commission based off individual payable gross and bonuses based on individual units sold and manufacturer approvability. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
