You will be trained directly by our leadership team, with exposure to our farms and production facilities, and will grow into supporting both sales and marketing as you develop product and industry knowledge.

This foundational role offers a clear path to a full sales position managing your own accounts.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidate — recent graduate or early-career professional.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Comfortable working on-site, including farms and production facilities.
• Based in or willing to commute to the Sioux City, IA area.
• Proficient with basic computer and presentation tools (PowerPoint).
• Background or coursework in agriculture, food, or business is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable in a small, cross-functional team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn products and business end-to-end, with hands-on time at partner farms and facilities.
• Assist in maintaining and servicing existing client accounts, fulfilling orders and daily needs.
• Support the sales team with materials such as presentations, decks, and product samples.
• Represent Heritage Pork International at industry trade shows (2–3 major shows per year, plus regional events).
• Support marketing and advertising coordination tied to sales efforts.
• Grow over time into identifying and developing new account opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with ownership and the broader team in a small-company environment.
