Redwood Farms Meat Processors in Estherville, IA is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our fresh domestic pork business. You will develop new customer relationships, expand existing accounts, and identify strategic sales opportunities that align customer demand with production capabilities.

This role requires frequent market presence, cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and logistics, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Agriculture, Animal Science, Meat Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in pork, meat, protein, food sales, or business development preferred.
• Fresh Pork Sales experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow fresh domestic pork sales.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new customer opportunities across retail, food service, wholesale, and distribution.
• Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Expand existing customer relationships through additional products, programs, and volume.
• Lead customer pricing, volume, and program discussions.
• Negotiate customer programs and supply commitments within company guidelines.
