Job summary

OC2 Occidental Chemical Corporation invites applications for an extended Sales Training Program based at the Dallas headquarters. The associate will undergo in-depth sessions covering product manufacturing, end-use markets, value selling, and the sales process, with cross-department collaboration and shadowing of regional sales teams.

Upon program completion (min. 6 months in Dallas), promotion to established regional sales territories within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Motivated self-starter with initiative and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication; willingness to relocate.
• Graduation date between December 2026 – May 2027; minimum GPA 2.85/4.0.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of OxyChem product lines, applications and market trends.
• Build cross-functional relationships at Dallas HQ to support field sales.
• Manage a territory with early career selling responsibilities.
• Identify and solve customer problems to drive growth and profitability.
• Coordinate with supply chain, technical service, logistics to meet customer needs.
• Plan territory and accounts for entry-level role in a multi-million-dollar geography.
• Use value-added selling to differentiate OxyChem from competitors.
• Provide competitive intelligence on territory and market segments.
• Travel frequently for region meetings and client coverage.
