Job summary

OxyChem in Dallas, Texas seeks a Sales Intern for a May–August program designed to provide hands‑on experience in sales and market development. You will work with the sales management team on real projects, receive training on products and customer engagement, and connect with site and executive leaders.

The program runs May through August with a 9/80 schedule, relocation housing if applicable, and opportunities to learn from experienced sales professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Sales Management, Business Management, Marketing or Engineering with an emphasis in Business.
• Must have a graduation date of December 2027 – May 2028.
• Must maintain minimum cumulative 2.85 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Intern will receive training on relevant businesses and products that align with the internship project.
• Interaction with key functional teams to support project completion and presentation.
• Shadowing with sales representatives to understand the expectations of a sales role.
• Training sessions with sales leadership to develop understanding of offerings, processes and selling techniques.
• Daily interaction with sales management team at the Dallas headquarters.
