Job summary

OxyChem offers a Summer Intern Program in Dallas, TX, giving students real business projects in sales and marketing. Interns will work with cross-functional teams, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to meaningful results.

You'll receive training on relevant products, shadow sales reps, and engage with sales leadership to learn the product offerings and selling techniques, with daily interaction at the Dallas headquarters.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Sales Management, Business Management, Marketing or Engineering with an emphasis in Business
• Must have a graduation date of December 2027 – May 2028
• Must maintain minimum cumulative 2.85 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Desire to pursue a career as a Sales Professional and placement to one of OxyChem's U.S. Sales territory locations

Responsibilities

• The intern will receive training on the relevant businesses and products that align with the sponsored internship project
• Interaction with all key functional teams that will support completion of the project and subsequent presentation
• Periodic shadowing opportunities with sales representatives to experience the expectations of a sales role
• Training sessions with sales leadership to develop understanding of OxyChem's product offerings, sales process and selling techniques
• Daily interaction with sales management team at the Dallas headquarters

Education

Bachelor's/Master's in Sales Management, Business Management, Marketing or Engineering (Business emphasis)
