Job summary

Morbark LLC in Winn, Michigan is seeking an entry‑level robotic weld technician to operate robotic welding equipment, monitor production output and perform basic inspections while following established work instructions. The role supports daily production and develops technical skills through hands‑on training and supervision.

Key responsibilities include creating and modifying basic robotic welding programs, diagnosing simple issues with guidance, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years progressive industrial robotic welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and part tolerances.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify basic robotic welding programs to support new products and process changes.
• Diagnose and resolve basic welding, programming, fixturing, and equipment issues with guidance.
• Identify and elevate process, equipment or material issues.
• Maintain safe work practices and PPE compliance.
• Meet production expectations with guidance.
• Quality ownership through in-process checks and escalation of non-conformances.
• Participate in continuous improvement and 6S.
