Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training in STEM or technical trades.
• At least 2 years welding experience in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up the welder and weld basic GTAW and GMAW joints.
• Read and apply basic weld symbols from drawings.
• Distinguish different material types used in production.
• Understand weld fixture locations and return process.
• Change over wire and gas for regular operations.
• Set up and troubleshoot projection welder and adjust settings as needed.
• Complete basic blueprint reading test.
