Sambatek, LLC is seeking an entry‑level Project Engineer to join our transportation team in Minnesota. You’ll work with experienced engineers on county and state projects, assisting with project documents and learning industry standards while growing your skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; EIT preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of OpenRoads Designer.
• 3D corridor modeling experience preferred.
• Self‑motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to highway projects in preliminary design phase or plan development phase.
• Measure, calculate, and tabulate quantities for bidding purposes.
• Participate in quality review processes.
• Perform CAD drafting in OpenRoads Designer.
• Collaborate with a task lead or project manager as part of a team.
• Spend time in the field and office to perform construction inspection and site visits to grow as a designer.
