Job summary

Ayres Associates is seeking a confident design engineer to contribute to transportation projects for public and private clients in Minnesota. You will collaborate with experienced teams, perform geometric roadway designs, and prepare plans, specs, and estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with transportation emphasis.
• 4+ years of transportation-related design experience.
• Proficient with Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a design team to define project objectives and design strategies.
• Perform geometric design for roadway improvement projects per standards.
• Prepare final plans, specifications and estimates.
• Assist or lead in preparation of design reports.
• Participate in meetings to review schedules and deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure quality control.
