Job summary

Garver is seeking an entry-level Roadway Project Engineer to join our Transportation Team in Tulsa to continue the tradition of providing quality service to our clients.

The role involves assisting in design and production of construction documents for transportation projects, including typical sections, drainage, traffic safety, and cost estimates. You will mentor by senior staff and participate in project procurement activities.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT or EI or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and creation of construction documents for transportation projects.
• Develop roadway design components incl. typical sections, geometrics, drainage, erosion control, safety features, and maintenance of traffic plans.
• Prepare construction documents including drafting, quantity computations, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Manage task assignments for junior engineers and technicians.
