Job summary

Empower RF Systems, based in Inglewood, CA, seeks an RF Test Technician to join the manufacturing/test group. The role supports product development, performs RF tests up to 6 GHz, and helps characterize final products for release.

Typical duties include setting up test circuits, debugging circuits, and using Spectrum/Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and power meters. Strong teamwork and communication are essential; ISO awareness is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years RF testing and basic manufacturing assembly experience.
• Able to set and adjust RF test instruments.
• RF knowledge up to 6 GHz or below, with tuning/troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product design engineering and operations to support product development.
• Specify and recommend test resources, processes, capabilities, and technology.
• Set-up test circuits to measure electrical parameters of products.
• Test, update and repair printed circuit boards using test stations and soldering equipment.
• Participate in assembly and testing of RF components within manufacturing.
• Use basic statistical tools to evaluate electrical data for test variability and aid problem solving.
