Job summary

Communications & Power Industries is seeking an RF Production Technician II to bring depth, precision, and hands-on expertise to a wide range of RF test and production tasks. You will operate and maintain advanced RF facilities, author test procedures, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program management to implement robust test strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RF systems and production experience.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment and controls.
• Soldering skills with willingness to take soldering certification test.
• Ability to interpret schematics and operate from drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with antenna testing and RF system installation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain RF and antenna test facilities to ensure accuracy.
• Author RF test procedures and analyze data for reports.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and PM to define test strategies.
• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, and test RF systems and components.
• Modify and debug tools from schematics to support prototyping.
• Document experiments and propose process improvements.
• Support prototype development and test RF circuits.
• Independently conduct RF tests in lab and on test range.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facilities and production hardware.
