Job summary

GlobalFoundries Fab 9, the world leader in RF semiconductor manufacturing in Essex Junction, VT, seeks an entry level Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer to support, develop and continuously improve 200mm manufacturing processes.

You will join the Manufacturing Engineering organization with primary responsibilities focused on support, development and continuous improvement, while collaborating with technicians, operators, and cross-functional teams to meet performance and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field; GPA ≥ 3.0.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).
• Willing to travel up to 10%.
• New college graduates program emphasis; entry-level role.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement for throughput, cost, and yield.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize equipment and processes.
• Lead hands-on troubleshooting for long-term performance issues.
• Collaborate with technicians, operators, and cross-functional teams to meet delivery and quality commitments.
• Apply structured problem-solving to complex systems.
