Job summary

MACOM in Lowell, Massachusetts is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Test Fixture Engineer to design and support advanced test fixtures across RF to light. You will work with New Product Development teams and transfer fixtures to contract manufacturers, domestically and overseas.

A BS in ME with a minor in EE plus 1 year of RF/DC/mixed-signal testing is required, with SolidWorks/AutoCAD skills. You will establish fixture standards, train staff, and troubleshoot fixture hardware in a production

Qualifications

• BS in ME with minor in EE preferred.
• 1+ year of RF/DC/mixed signal test solution development experience.
• Proficiency with 3D mechanical software and ability to learn in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and document test circuits and complete test fixtures to meet specified needs.
• Conduct fixture design reviews to ensure production readiness and quality.
• Establish fixture standards (materials, layouts, components, methods).
• Train personnel on fixture assembly, repair and maintenance procedures.
• Support transfer of test solutions to contract manufacturers, domestically and overseas.
• Create SolidWorks and AutoCAD models for fixture design.
