Job summary

MACOM is hiring an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support RF pallet and module product lines for aerospace, defense, and telecom applications. You will design mechanical housings, ensure thermal management, and drive integration with electrical subsystems throughout development.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, are proficient in SolidWorks, and have hands-on experience with hardware design and RF systems. Willingness to travel and adapt to ITAR requirements is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with CAD/CAM, stress analysis, thermal analysis required.
• Hands-on experience with hardware prototyping and design feasibility studies.
• Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks; temperature and stress simulation add-ins a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical housings through product lifecycle from concept to manufacturing.
• Integrate mechanical designs with RF subsystems and thermal management.
• Perform thermal analysis, vibration testing, and qualification activities.
