Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in California to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help maintain stock and store appearance.

You will ensure cash security, unload trucks when needed, stock replenishment, and keep areas neat. The role requires strong customer service, communication, and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. This is a part-time position with an equal opportunity employer commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness; bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
