Job summary

BMS CAT is hiring an Entry Level Restoration Technician to support day-to-day remediation operations in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will perform cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation for mold remediation, water damage, and fire/smoke cleanup with strict safety and quality standards.

We train the right candidate and expect physical stamina, reliability, and a willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical labor (lifting 50+ lbs) and work in potentially high-risk environments.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and job-specific instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming and debris removal in remediation work zones.
• Set up and maintain containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers and dehumidifiers.
• Conduct pre-clean and post-clean sanitation per IICRC and company standards.
• Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials according to guidelines.
• Load-in/load-out of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Maintain clean work areas, vehicles and equipment; ensure professional environment.
• Document daily activities with photos, material usage, and equipment tracking.
• Assist with odor removal and surface decontamination as needed.
• Interact professionally with customers, property owners and onsite personnel.
