Job summary

BMS CAT in Concord, NC is seeking an entry-level Restoration Technician to support smoke, fire, and water cleanup on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We will train you and provide safety guidance to perform detailed cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation following strict standards.

You will move materials, assist with equipment setup, and document daily activities while upholding professionalism and customer service on every job site.

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs., bending, climbing ladders.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation work zones.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
• Conduct pre-clean and post-clean sanitation in accordance with IICRC and company standards.
• Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials following environmental and regulatory guidelines.
• Load-in/load-out of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Document daily work activities, including before/after photos, material usage, and equipment tracking.
• Uphold professionalism when interacting with customers, property owners, and onsite personnel.
