Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking an entry-level Restoration Technician to support day-to-day remediation operations in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will perform detailed cleaning and site preparation for mold remediation, water damage, and fire/smoke cleanup, following safety and quality standards.

We train the right candidates in PPE, equipment operation, and project protocols, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Reliable transportation and a safe driving record preferred.
• No prior remediation experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation zones.
• Assist with setting up containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
• Conduct pre-clean and post-clean sanitation in accordance with IICRC standards.
• Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials following guidelines.
• Load/unload equipment and maintain clean work areas.
• Document daily activities with before/after photos and inventory tracking.
• Assist with odor removal, surface decontamination, and antimicrobial application.
