Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking individuals to perform smoke, fire, and water restoration cleanup. Training will be provided. The role supports day-to-day remediation operations on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, adhering to safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, inventory control, and site preparation, with a focus on professional conduct and customer service on job sites. Flexible hours may be required as demand dictates.

• Move and transport customer property and general cleanup tasks as needed.

Job Summary

You would play a critical role in supporting day-to-day remediation operations. This position is responsible for performing detailed cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation tasks on residential, commercial, and industrial projects involving mold remediation, water damage restoration, fire/smoke cleanup, and environmental decontamination. You must follow strict safety, compliance, and quality standards to ensure all work is completed efficiently, professionally, and according to company protocols.

Responsible for moving business files and boxes;must be able to carefully and efficiently, wrap files and place item on to pallets for transportation.Provide safe transportation for customer property; Perform inspections and complete walk through to ensure proper inventory control for customer property.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation work zones.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
• Conduct pre-clean and post-clean sanitation in accordance with IICRC and company standards.
• Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials following environmental and regulatory guidelines.
• Load-in/load-out of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and equipment to ensure a professional and safe environment.
• Follow all PPE requirements, safety protocols, and job-specific instructions provided by supervisors or project managers.
• Document daily work activities, including before/after photos, material usage, and equipment tracking.
• Assist with odor removal, surface decontamination, and antimicrobial application as needed.
• Uphold professionalism when interacting with customers, property owners, and onsite personnel.

• Experience in moving furniture, files, warehouse delivery or large item delivery (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record (preferred)
• Forklift experienceand certification (preferred)
• Prior cleaning, janitorial, remediation, or construction experience (preferrednot required)—we will train the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
