Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) new graduate for an entry-level role under licensed physicians and leadership. You will provide basic respiratory care, participate in assessment, treatment and monitoring of cardiopulmonary patients while progressing toward licensure.

The role is full-time with nights, offering a path to NBRC credentials and required certifications including BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Eligible to sit for NBRC credentialing exams.
• Holds a Temporary Respiratory Therapist License from the Maine Board.
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS within 3 months; PALS preferred.
• CRT or RRT credential expected within three months of hire.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic respiratory care procedures under supervision.
• Assist in assessment, treatment and monitoring of cardiopulmonary patients.
• Support safe, high-quality care and progress toward licensure.
