Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for the Night shift. The role includes performing respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics per physician orders, with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation tailored to patient age and needs.

A possible Lead RCP designation may occur during the shift. Compensation ranges from $33.15 to $44.62 per hour with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current State RCP license required.
• Current NBRC RRT certification or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC required at hire and current.
• ACLS certification from AHA/ARC required at hire and current.
• PALS certification from AHA preferred.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered, with focus on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care.
• May be designated Lead RCP with responsibility for the section/department during the shift.

Associate or B.S. degree preferred

2 years acute care experience preferred
