Job summary

STYL Residential is seeking a Service Technician I at The View on Shelby Farms in Cordova, TN. This entry-level maintenance role covers day-to-day property upkeep, apartment repairs during moves, and resident-focused service to enhance living experience.

You'll troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and safety tasks, support on-call coverage, and collaborate with a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety across the community.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in maintenance service or related field.
• Use of general maintenance equipment such as hand tools, ladders, refrigerant recovery units, and landscaping equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building, office, and grounds in clean, orderly condition.
• Perform make-ready duties on vacant units and timely unit turns.
• Diagnose and repair basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall issues.
• Provide excellent resident service and respond to maintenance requests.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues and progress.
• Assist with safety programs and inspections.
• Participate in required trainings and adheres to policies.
