Job summary

JES Holdings, through Fairway Management, is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to support residential properties in O’Fallon, MO. The role emphasizes curb appeal, timely work orders, and on-call availability, with a schedule from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and up to 2 years of basic maintenance experience. You will assist with unit turns, repairs, and preventive tasks while coordinating with the property team to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Entry-level maintenance experience of 0–2 years preferred.
• Candidates must be punctual, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Complete and assist with daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit turns, including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning as needed.
• Willing to assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Procure supplies from area vendors while operating a registered and insured vehicle.
• Report to Property Manager, Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for delegated tasks.
• Travel to regional and corporate trainings as required.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents, vendors and staff.
• Flag health and safety concerns to the manager.
• Work overtime as needed and approved.
• Be eager to train and learn HUD and LIHTC maintenance standards.
