Job summary

EDF power solutions is seeking Renewable Energy Technicians in Ivanhoe, MN. The role assists with maintenance of wind, solar, and storage systems, under supervision, learning safety and EDF Core Values while supporting senior technicians.

You will participate in four-week training in MN and rotate through on-site field work, with a clear path to progression as Technician 2. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of renewable energy or equivalent experience.
• Must pass safety and technical training.

Responsibilities

• Assists with maintaining company property and equipment safely.
• Supports experienced technicians with routine maintenance and repairs.
• Tests electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components; collects data.
• Follows safety guidelines and learns EDF values.
• Attends required safety and technical training.
• Works in a team and aligns with EDF Core Values.
• Completes daily work orders and administrative tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
