AtkinsRéalis seeks an entry-level Resilience and Emergency Management (REM) Specialist to join our REM Team in Tallahassee, FL. This role supports public-sector clients with disaster recovery, resilience planning, grants, research, and project coordination.

You will collect and analyze data, prepare reports and presentations, and coordinate communications across multidisciplinary teams, fostering quality documentation and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in emergency management, disaster recovery, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, analyze, and maintain data to support projects and client objectives.
• Support grant and program activities, including applications, administration, and documentation.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, hazard mitigation, resilience, and emergency planning projects.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and planning documents.
• Coordinate meetings and client communications; document action items and progress.
• Perform quality assurance reviews on project and program documentation.
• Support FEMA/HUD grant programs, hazard mitigation, and data visualization efforts.
• Perform other duties to support project and organizational needs.
