Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an entry‑level REM Specialist based in Atlanta to support disaster recovery, hazard mitigation, resilience, and emergency management projects. You will collect and analyze diverse data, assist with grant programs, and prepare planning documents while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience and a Bachelor’s in a relevant field; familiarity with Power BI, ArcGIS, and FEMA systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in emergency management, disaster recovery or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, analyze, and maintain data to support project delivery and client objectives.
• Support grant activities including applications, reimbursements, and documentation.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, hazard mitigation, resilience and emergency planning projects.
• Prepare reports, proposals, scopes of work, dashboards, and planning documents.
• Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagement, and client communications; track action items.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance of docs.
