Job summary

Leidos is hiring a Relay Settings Engineer to join our Power Delivery Solutions team in a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC or Framingham, MA. Entry-level/BSEE graduates will work with protection engineers on relay setting packages and substation logic diagrams, supporting design and construction across transmission and distribution projects.

You will prepare relay settings for 4.16kV to 500kV, interact with clients, and engage in project planning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET accredited institution and internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with protection engineers and perform quality reviews on relay setting packages.
• Create logic diagrams for IEC61850 substations.
• Work directly with clients and other staff in remote office locations.
• Support a full range of project planning activities through design and construction support.
• Prepare relay settings from 4.16kV through 500kV including relay set points, logic diagrams, configuration files and documentation.
• Solve challenging substation engineering problems.
