Transco Rail Services in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Entry-Level Repair Technician to perform basic rail car repair tasks. You will repair metal parts according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches while thriving in a TEAM environment.

Ideal candidates have mechanical experience, can read specifications, and are willing to learn air brake testing. The role is hourly, with shift from Monday to Friday (06:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
• Pass drug screen and physical.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic repairs on metal parts.
• Repair rail car components according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics and sketches.
• Work in a TEAM environment and maintain safe, clean work areas.
