The role emphasizes teamwork in a structured shift (Mon–Fri, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.), with a pay range starting at $24.39 per hour and a strong benefits package. You must be able to lift 50 pounds and pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Stick welding is required and operator must handle welding equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and in a TEAM environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs on railcar components per layouts, work orders, and sketches.
• Use a variety of tools to repair metal parts and weldable materials.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report hazards.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure timely repairs.
