Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills under BCBA guidance.

You’ll work with experienced BCBAs and receive competitive hourly pay, benefits, mileage reimbursement, and flexible schedules while making a meaningful difference in clients’ lives. Travel between locations is required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field.
• Or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, paraprofessional, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

• Required:
  • At least 18 years old

• OR
  • At least one year of experience as a:
    • Behavior Technician
    • ABA Therapist
    • Behavioral Interventionist
    • Paraprofessional
    • Child Development Professional
    • Camp Counselor
    • Similar child-focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
