Job summary

Performance Contracting in Springfield, MO, seeks an entry-level Associate Project Engineer to join its PCI Southern Missouri operations. This role is a launching pad for future leaders, offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, punch lists, QA/QC support, RFIs, labor control, takeoffs, scheduling, warranties, and material coordination. Pay range is $72,600-$77,600; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, learn new skills, and take initiative.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask.
• Motivated self-starter; works well under pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings.
• Create and manage punch lists.
• Support PCI QA/QC measures.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Labor control on projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Perform quantitative takeoffs for material ordering.
• Support implementation of the job schedule.
• Coordinate warranties and O/Ms.
• Coordinate material with purchase orders and invoicing.
