Performance Contracting Group is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for the PCI Southern Missouri operations based in Springfield, MO. The role serves as a launching pad for future leaders with hands-on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth in a dynamic environment.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in construction fields, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a team under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying them as taught.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings.
• Create and manage punch lists.
• Support PCI's QA/QC program.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering.
• Support the implementation of the job schedule.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M’s.
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing.
