Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support construction projects, applying fundamentals and company standards to field execution. The role covers general construction management, punch lists, and self-perform work to understand building processes and JE Dunn execution methods.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills, with a Bachelor’s in construction management or related field and a willingness to learn through on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates with QA/QC planning to ensure task quality.
• Supports estimating, change management, and quantity take-off processes.
• Works on site to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials and equipment.
• Prepares project documentation, reports and progress updates.
• Posts drawings and specifications with latest information.
• Participates in project meetings and procurement logs.
