Job summary

Barnhill Contracting Company is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to support one or more projects in Wilmington, NC. You will assist with schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and project documentation to help meet goals and deadlines.

You will work under mentors to ensure accuracy of submittals, drawings, and specifications while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Entry level work experience acceptable.
• NC Driver's License and clean record; must be 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Learn to manage project schedules, procurement, subcontractors, resources, and documentation.
• Assist in Owner/Subcontractor Change Orders, RFIs, and project closeout.
• Maintain submittals, drawings and specs with updated information for field operations.
• Collaborate with mentors to ensure safe, efficient project execution.
