Job summary

rand* construction is seeking a Project Engineer in Charlotte, NC to learn and grow under the supervision of the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer. This entry‑level role focuses on updating project schedules, processing submittals and RFIs, assisting with subcontractor procurement, coordination, delivery and closeout.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is preferred. Strong communication, time management and willingness to learn new project management tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related field.
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn new technology utilized in project management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
