Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in paper science or engineering required.
• Manufacturing experience is desirable; paper manufacturing a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Sustain a safe, healthy workplace compliant with codes and laws.
• Support safety initiatives and incident reporting.
• Analyze production data, identify problems, and support troubleshooting.
• Lead cost improvement opportunities and lean initiatives.
• Develop understanding of equipment, products, and processes to support operations.
• Write technical reports documenting trials, results and cause/effect relationships.
